iMUNC
Welcome to iMUNC 2023. It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the seventh iteration of the iSchool's Model United Nations Conference. This year we have worked incredibly hard to present a series of committees on topics that will ensure every delegate can participate in a committee they find interesting.
In true iMUNC fashion, all of our committees will be crisis committees designed to provide ample opportunities for creativity and debate. We are focused on ensuring every delegate can use our conference to grow their public speaking and collaboration abilities. We will work with delegates to improve their skills in writing crisis notes and directives as well as their grasp of Robert's Rules of Order. But most importantly we will make sure every person that attends iMUNC 2023 enjoys our committees and the culture of respectful collaboration we work to foster. We can't wait to see you!
Preparing for iMUNC
Be sure that you know how you will get to the iSchool prior to the day of the conference. We are within close walking distance of the 1, 6, A, C,& E trains. And slightly further walking distance (~10 min) from the B, D, F, J, M, N, Q, R, W, & Z trains.
We do not require position papers, but due to the unique nature of the committees, you must thoroughly read through the background guides. It will likely be impossible to do any outside research so be sure that you understand the committee completely. If you have any questions about your background guide, please contact the chairs of the committee.
Any questions about the conference in general should be directed to ischoolmunc@gmail.com
